Understanding Ottoman Heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA171 Project, Prof. Dr. Fahd Kasumović from the University of Sarajevo, whom we hosted at our center, will present “Understanding Ottoman Heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Conversion to Islam in the 19th-century Sharia Court Records of Sarajevo,” in which he will evaluate the Ottoman heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina through 19th-century Sarajevo Sharia court records.

This academic event, moderated by Prof. Dr. Hasip Saygılı, is open to all interested participants.
